Reminder: Practice 1/30

Hello everyone!

Reminder:

We will again practice in the White Oak  Old Middle School Gym tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm.

Remember its a gym floor so please wear non skid sole shoes, tennis shoes will be most comfortable.

If you would like to help setup you can come 15 minutes early.(Greatly Appreciated)

I know there is no seating in the gym that we can use, and it will be difficult to be comfortable, but I hope you will bear with us, the school spends a lot of money to keep the floors in great condition so you can bring blankets, pillows or soft cushions to sit on ,NO CHAIRS OF ANY KIND PLEASE, we don't want to scratch the floor.

Archers be thinking about leadership roles you might be interested in. Positions we will be looking for are:

-Junior coaches: Helping on shooting line.

-Target coaches: In charge of overseeing what goes on at target line.

-Equipment manager:Repairing  and managing equipment.

We expect some of new faces this practice, from the turnout at the EXPO this past weekend, so please make our new people feel welcome and important,remember they are the new growth of our club.

Archery Practice & Monthly Meeting

We will have our first Archery Practice at the Auxillary Gym at White Oak School on Thursday 1/16 from 6:00-8:30.   We will have a brief business meeting before practice.
♦If you are new to Archery and have not taken our Safety Course, please let us know ahead of time.  BW4HAC does require a Safety and Intro Course prior to full participation.  We offer this course at least once, sometimes twice a month.
♦Parking is on the back side of the Gym. Our Suburban and  Archery equipment trailer will be parked at the side walk that leads to the door that we enter through.
♦We are very excited and grateful to the White Oak School District for so willingly sharing their facilities with us!

Hey guys here's an update for those who let me know they want to participate in the Union Grove tournament Thursday.

We will be bringing equipment for all archers who don't have their own NASP approved gear. I will have the Archery Trailer with me.

We have shooting flight time of 2:00pm so we'll need to be there at least by 1:30 to get equipment and get ready in case the tournament is running ahead of schedule. I will be there at 1:00 and will have my cell phone on. 903-241-5494 We will meet in front of Union Grove High School. There is a statue of a Lion in front of the buildings - we will meet there.

The entry fee is 10 dollars per archer, if this is a problem, call me and I will help with the fee. We don't want anyone to miss out.     If you have any questions, need a ride, anything at all please feel free to call me.

Reminder: Archery Practice this Saturday 1/4

REMINDER!

1st Archery practice of the New Year!  And, the first Saturday that was not raining or freezing in a month! 

We will meet at East Texas Rifle and Pistol Club on the Archery Range beside the Office.  www.etrpc.com

●Beginners, Visitors, and those who want to see what it's all about OR those who haven't been through the initial Safety session -we will meet at 1:00 for about 30 minutes. 

●1:30 general practice. Warm up, knock the rust off, and fine tune. We'll discuss who all wants to participate in the Union Grove NASP Tournament coming up next Thursday the 9th. 

●Coach has been to 2 trainings recently so we have lots of new Information, skills, and techniques to learn!

●We will be there several hours. We're willing to stay until our arms are so tired we can't shoot anymore :)
